“I want to break free” Queen

What is framing my life is that grey grey grey-ish routine thick stagnant water above me,
me as a note in the margins, the suits of the employees, the sky reflecting in the glass
of offices. There’s nothing to be sexy about my normative production. State violence,
disciplinary in our lives, an entertaining game on the back pages of newspaper, passive
participation in real military operations, but y’all want to take a beer with me? What
seems of the simplest banality, is the most conform alienation: the body is trapped in a
globalized chessboard made of laws optics mechanics lines beams degrees which
crisscross space. Alongside recognizable everyday objects, such as beer caps, a cowboy
hat, or the corporate shoe, the gaze is troubled: The gesture that disguises softened
twists childishizes made muddy caresses casts an acerbic ironic mocking look at these
empires. What a pawn does when it is off the grid? Is the grid as rigid as male abs claim?
PAWNPLAY is a movement on the chessboard akin to moving machines from one front
line to another, a defector that smiles with our banality, bodies, and desires.
